
I often try to imagine what she would look like today. In my mind, she will always be the age she was when she died. The closer I get to that age, the more I realize how short her life really was.
This picture was taken of her in the winter of 1946. It's always been one of my favorites.
Her name was Roberta Emma Dingler, but everybody called her Bobbie.
