Anime Skene

As I was onstage at Famous Johnny's in Overland Park, Kansas this past Friday night, I noticed a young man in the front row doodling on the back of a comment card. At first, I thought he was just ignoring my well-crafted dick jokes, so I inquired in a not-so-subtle way, "What the hell are you doing?"

Turns out he was drawing a picture of me.



After the show, I learned that his name is Mark Burgat and he loves anime.

Years ago, my husband I were working in Metairie, Louisiana in the same hotel where an anime convention was being held. After several hours of me being ogled and eyeballed by the throngs of anime devotees, we realized that I bear a striking resemblance to many of the characters in this form of Japanese animation. There's something about my big round eyes and pug nose that make anime lovers love me.

So, I was thrilled when Mark turned me into a real live cartoon character. I think I look like a superhero.

Much to his credit, he slimmed down my formerly soccer playing legs but kept the bulbous ass intact. Although I think I may need to buy a new bra. Apparently, my boobs are riding a little low these days.
